CDOT to Begin Resurfacing US 287

Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) will begin resurfacing College Avenue (US 287) between 29th Street in Loveland to Mulberry. Work will including milling and resurfacing the driving surface, signing, and striping. 

When completed, the project will create a safer trip through the corridor for motorists, as well as update ADA standards for bicyclists and pedestrians.

The resurfacing project will be delivered in three phases:

Phase I

US 287 From Carpenter Rd (SH 392) to Harmony Rd - This phase will begin construction in June 2014. 

Phase II

US 287 from 29th Street in Loveland to Carpenter Rd (SH 392) - This phase be advertised for construction on June 26, 2014 and will begin construction in August 2014.

Phase III

US 287 from Harmony Rd to Mulberry Rd - This phase will begin construction Spring of 2015.

Project Schedule and Delays

Work on Phase I begins the week of June 1, 2014, and is expected to last until July 2014. Normal working hours will be from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday. In special cases, these hours may be extended. Weekend as well as night work may also occur as needed. There will be lane-closures and lane shifts throughout the course of the project.
